We are committed to fostering a positive online community. Our Conflict Resolution Process provides a fair and structured approach to resolve significant disputes while promoting goodwill, constructive teamwork, and respectful participation.
When to Use the Conflict Resolution Process
Mediation is a last resort and applies only to significant disputes. Members are encouraged to resolve minor misunderstandings independently. Use this process when:
Arguments escalate into personal attacks (ad hominem).
Harassment, bullying, or unconstructive behavior is reported.
How to Report a Conflict
For qualifying disputes, email [email protected] with a brief explanation and details about the parties involved. Common scenarios include:
Public Community Disputes
For conflicts in forums or group discussions, email [email protected] with a summary of the issue.
Private Chat Disputes
Block or ignore the other party first. If harassment continues, email a brief report of the issue.
Online Meeting Disputes
For perceived bias, unfair treatment, or ad hominem attacks in meetings, send a description of the incident.
Other Conflicts
For disputes not covered above, provide a clear explanation of the issue.
Steps in the Mediation Process
Phase 1: Reporting
Submit a detailed email to [email protected], describing the conflict and all parties involved.
Phase 2: Investigation
The Mediation Team conducts an impartial investigation, gathering perspectives from all parties while ensuring fairness under The Prime Law.
Phase 3: Mediation Session
If necessary, the Mediation Team arranges an online meeting for all parties to calmly discuss the issue. Participants must maintain respect throughout the session. Anyone disrupting the process may be excused.
Phase 4: Resolution
The Mediation Team finalizes a resolution, which all parties must agree to by signing an agreement form. Signed forms are securely stored for future reference.
